TASK 21. Pg. 148 29 / Nov. / 2016
Miguel Astudillo
Think of two current world leaders that you believe will be remembered in history. How did history “make” these world leaders?
Barack Obama
In my opinion, Barack Obama who is the current President of the United States of America has faced a lot of difficult situations in his personal life and his political career.  The different circumstances that this leader has had to overcome in order to reach his goals have been admirable.
Since he was only two years old he had to deal with the divorce of his parents. This fact encouraged him the wish to study hard and become a professional. Later, he started to work as a community organizer, as a civil-rights lawyer, and as a teacher before pursuing a political career. He has also written two books, one of them is his autobiography, whose children’s version, an audiobook narrated by him won a Grammy Award. Once as a President, he has worked to expand health care services and early childhood education programs for the poor. Concerning to the international politics, he has improved the relations with Europe, China and Russia and has opened dialogue with Iran, Venezuela and Cuba.
Vladimir Putin
Vladimir Putin is another world leader who has had a brilliant political career, but his path to the Russian presidency has been done in several ways. He was a very successful sportsman, later he became a KGB officer, then he became Russia's prime minister, and finally he became President of Russia.  He has being re-elected for two times serving as President for three times.
Once in his role as a Russian President, he made political and economic reforms. He restructured the government and launched criminal investigations into the business dealings of high-profile Russian citizens. About international politics, he continued Russia's military campaign in Chechnya. He supported the United States in its anti-terrorism campaign, but he opposed to the plan of war that USA had against Iraq. In addition, he visited Israel, becoming the first Kremlin leader to go there. Later, he was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Finally, after having analyzed the profiles of these two world leaders, I can say that history set appropriate time and circumstances to make these people as true leaders not only for their countries, but also for the world context because they have done memorable things in favor of the human beings in the right time and place. Their decisions certainly influenced and affected people in their countries and in other ones, but in a positive way. These things have been examples to be imitated by other leaders who want to work in favor of their countries. These correct actions have given them the right of being remembered through times by people around the world because they have left tracks that are difficult to ignore.

The Greatest Leaders Who Will Be Remembered

The greatest leaders who will be remmemberad in the history are Martin Luther King and Adlof Hitler. Those two people have made the history. Martin Luther King did a lot of things in the U.S which are stop racemes and treat African Americans equally. In the other hand, Hitller was trying to control the world by his military. Martin Luther King said that African Americans should not fight back, which means even though the police were shot the African Americans, the African Americans would not fight back, and that is one of the of the best thing that he had ever done. His famous speech that was for all the people who lived there, and it is for us. Hitler was dictator, but the people who were n Germany chose him,so that is our flout, not Hitler flout. He said in his speech i hate, i will kill, but the people were happy for him. In the world war I, Hitler had achieved many things. Hopefully, in the world war II , Hitler killed him-selves because he knew that he will lost agents Russian. He had a hard power, but he lost because he was arrogance. Those two people were the best to me because they had made history, and the history will remember them fore ever.

MFA#2 TASK6 by Shen Wang

Nelson Mandela, as the president of South Africa, also as the black human civil activist, totally practice what he preach. Because he was trying to make a big revolution and to end the dark time for black people in South Africa, Mandela was framed as a traitor of the country and be sentenced 27 years to life. After being released Mandela was dedicated to keep the movement of anti-racism. Finally, Mandela became the president  of South Africa as ANC in 1990.What Nelson Mandela did was remarkable for people in South Africa. Not only did he successfully end the system of race segregation and discrimination for black people, he also inspired many people by practicing what he preach:"I am prepared to die."quoted from him. After being the president, he was praised not only by black people nad his supporters, but also the ones who used to fight against him. In fact, Mandela was one of the most effective leader who achieve the goals with a very long period of time that almost no one else can keep on.

MFA#2 TASK6 BY ZACK

Beyond all question, Nelson Mandela, the president of South Africa, is absolutely the most qualified leader who "practice what he preach." Mandela served 27 years in prison on Robben Island. Amid international pressure and growing fear of a racial civil war, Mandela was released by President F. W. de Klerk in 1990. Mandela fought for the rights of black people and negotiated with F. W. de Klerk an end to apartheid. Finally, Mandela became the president  of the African National Congress (ANC) party from 1991 to 1997.
Not only had Mandela positively started all kinds of movements against racism and segregation, but also had never gave up what he preached even when he was in prison. There are lots of stories about Mandela united his supporters to protest against the prison guards in non-violent ways. That was the other accomplishment Mandela has achieved, which is to fight for people's rights in a peaceful way. As a matter of fact, what Mandela did is just like Martin Luther King Jr did but more effective. Unlike King, Mandela successfully made the revolution, and has totally changed the aspect of South Africa.

Leaders are people who have a big responsibility that they have to achieve their goal and make life of people who belong to them are better. It is not easy that they will be able to practice what they preach but many leader could do it. However, every leaders have different ways to influence the people follow their rules. About the political, the most of leaders in each nation come from the election. This mean that nation have a democracy that everybody have opportunity for showing their opinions. Pakistan is one nation that have a democratic system in political. Benazir Bhutto was the first woman and the eleventh prime minister of Pakistan. She was victory the prime minister election for twice. Also, she had done a lot of things especially with economic. She said "Justice is economic independence. Justice is social equality...". Moreover, she wanted to improve country's economy and she did it, but not that much. Maybe that is because she was dismissed by President who accused her administration of corruption and nepotism. Also, she care about an image of the nation that had shown  to the world. For example terrorist that include people who bomb the subway or plan to do somethings in the other countries. She would follow and take them to Pakistan. She mentioned this is not real image of Pakistan.

'' I am female political leader fighting to bring modernity, communication , education and technology to Pakistan ....''  Benazir Bhutto ,  May 2007. In my opinion ,
among the different world leaders given in the question, Benazir Bhutto is the most famous one. Benazir Bhutto was the prime minister of Pakistan. She was the 10th prime minister of that country. She was known as the ‘Iron Lady’ of Pakistan during her days.
We all know that Pakistan is an Islamic country. In those days it was unthinkable for many of the Muslim majority countries to elect a female president or prime minister. But Benazir Bhutto defeated all the difficulties to become the first female leader of Pakistan. Bhutto always believed in progress. She believed education can break all the backward rules of the society. She always fought to break those rules which keep women confined in the houses. She proved that with willpower women can win anything in the world, even can become prime minister of a country.
During her period, she was able to increase the education among the rural girls in Pakistan. Many people did not agree with her ideas. Many people were angry on her. Those people became so angry and frustrated against Bhutto that they plotted to kill her several times. But Luckily she survived all of the times. She continued to press the Pakistani society for the empowerment of women. But her efforts were stopped in 2006. She was killed in bomb blast in the capital city of Pakistan.

TASK 6

There are different types of world leaders around the world. Each of them has their own philosophies, and view of the world. But not all the world leaders practice what they believe. Many of them believe in equality, human rights, and democracy, but there are a lot who do not practice those things in their lives. One of the great example of the world leaders is Nelson Mandela. Mr. Mandela was from South Africa. He was a normal person from rural South African village. He fought really hard to achieve rights for native African people in his country. He believed in equal rights for all the people. He always said that people should not be discriminated by their race, religion, or sex. The oppressive South African government of that time tried to stop his revolution a lot of time. But Nelson Mandela was determined in his philosophy, and he never gave up. His beliefs were so strong that he was in prison for more than 25 years. Even after all those torture, and jails, he did not give up his philosophy. Finally, after 40 years of revolution, and fighting for his beliefs, the oppressive government of South Africa gave up. They returned the power to the general people of the country. Nelson Mandela became the first black president of South Africa. He proved that if someone is strong his honest beliefs, he will eventually win.
