People can now find a wide variety of sexual toys that somehow satisfy a person’s sexual pleasure. In addition to this, there is an intriguing concept that humans will literately fall in love and even worse have sex with futuristic robots. People have tried this crazy idea of creating sexual robots before but it did not work. However, nowadays with the advancements of technology, this project of giving life to sexual robots is possible. Even though it is hard to make a robot behave like a human and have human skin, scientists are continuing to make strides in the creation of a sexual robot. Scientists predict that by the year of 2050, marrying sexual robots will be a normal occurrence.

While it might seem that we are in a new sexual revolution, trying to create a robot with the same features of a human body is very complicated. Once robots are completed, they are supposed to please and sexually satisfy the buyer instead of scaring them. Some robots can be creepy and that can be a big problem for the company that makes them. Not only creating the robots are a hurdle for companies but also the funding is challenging.

Producers of robots really want these robots to have is an artificial intelligence that allows them to think rather than just simply react to movement sensors. Furthermore, robots are expected to learn directly from human behaviors. So far, the closest artifact resembling a sex robot is a doll sold by Abyss, a company in California. Nevertheless, this robot doll is not a sexual performer, at least not yet.

The real sex robot will recognize and react to facial gestures, initiate certain actions that might please the user, even positioning itself the way a human would do at the time of having sex. As if that was not enough, the freaking robot will respond to questions while in the sexual act. The robot is expected to perform the sexual work a real person would do.
