The Right Way to Bribe Your Kids to Read

How to make your children read in summer or on a vacation ?  Children need to read on summer to continue their education when school stopped, but also they need to enjoy their holiday. The more children keep reading, the higher education they will have. Many parents try to make their children keep reading while they are on a holiday, and the easy way to make it is through a bribe. For example,  if we want our children to read, and they prefer to do something else, the solution is a bribe. British educational publisher applied a survey to parents with children from 3 to 8 years old, and these parents admitted offering their children rewards for reading (Dell'antonia) . “If you pay kids to read you’ll get them to read,” said Edward Deci, the author of “Why We Do What We Do” and a professor of psychology at the University of Rochester. “They’ll continue to read until you end the experiment, and then they’ll stop.” (Quoted by Dell'antonia). Some kids pretend that they read in order to get money, but  they didn’t read anything. For this reason, you have to pay attention if your kids read it or not.  Actually, some experts agree that bribe kids can be useful, especially for younger learners. Finally, you have many ways to bribe your kids to read, not only money make them reading, but also you can give them incentives. We should make our children read any book or story that interest them, also we have to show them that we do enjoy reading, too.
