Why We Should Drink Cockroach Milk

Is cockroach milk the superfood of the future? When you think of superfoods, you probably think of pomegranates, pickles, turmeric, vegetables  … most of that good stuff. Maybe someday we will eat cookies and ice cream made with cockroach milk. We know that most cockroaches don’t actually produce milk, but one kind of cockroach can pump out a type of  milk containing protein crystals to feed its babies. This kind of cockroach is Diploptera punctate. The crystals are like a complete food - they have proteins, fats, and sugars. Cockroaches’ milk is more benefit than cow’s milk. Researchers in India have discovered that a  Diploptera punctate cockroach (one that gives birth to live young rather than laying eggs) produces a substance three times the energy of an equivalent mass of buffalo milk. That means cockroach’s milk is rich in fat, protein and sugar. Also, it has three times the energy of an equivalent mass of buffalo milk about four times the equivalent of cow's milk. However, who tried this kind of milk said that the milk did not taste bad. Finally, don't say drink some of the cockroaches' milk is impossible because who can believe that some people would eat Grasshoppers. So, I won't surprise if I see my family drink cockroach milk.
