I am so sorry for your unfortunate experience.But,I want to tell you ,this is realistic society which is consist of bad people,normal people and good people,you can't change that.The only thing you can do is change yourself.
     
 You maybe blame them wrongly.Perhaps they just drove past but then called police. everyone don't like to put themselves on the edge of valley.However,their leaving doesn't reprensent they are apathetic, they just want to protect themselves safety as the same time rescuing you .The final result is that you are survive.So,when some oher people are sufferring emergency,please hold out your hands.
    
  Maybe your help is like a drop of water to this society. But,believe in yourself, sooner or later, countless drops of water will become a sea filling in the sky hole of apathy.
