As much as one would wish to help the less fortunate in the society, there a couple of things that may prevent a person to offer to charity or increase to foreign aid spending. It is claimed that many charity organizations are often mismanaged where some may even argue that they may be of less importance since they do not solve problems in the society but rather just help those people affected thus it does not change the society. Another reason as to why it may be a challenge for me to give my contributions to the needy is because the contributions rather benefit the government where some of their responsibilities are taken care of or rather in some cases where it has been claimed that charity has been used to supplement government spend other than being used to provide service for the public. The methods or technicalities that are used to assist the less fortunate in the society are also not equal to all. For example where the government tax the donations for a project it reduces their revenue thus it becomes hard for them to implement. In order to deal with this challenges, a couple of systems being used have to be changed such as the charity organisations promotion basis which will help distinguish between charities that will help to save life by dealing with the problems other than trying to console the affected. Some of the aims of charity may impose obligations in cases where it is unethical or they controversial human rights where some rules may be implemented in order to make sure that the donations become of benefit to all. In cases where the charity is highly influential and thus it involves a couple of managements, it has ended up not attaining their full aims since there are people that exist within who have motives to benefit themselves from the funds. This may challenge people to trust the charities managements of the funds aimed at finishing problems in the society. “Ethics Guide” BBC, 2014.
